Canvas App Adaptive Screen Sizing – Avoiding The Publishing Loop
Canvas apps are a great way to increase productivity, user experience, and CRM adoption within your organization. When creating apps, it’s important to make sure your app stretches & shrinks to fit whatever screen size your users have. In some cases, you may even want to change the layout/UI for larger tablet-sized screens.
However, this is easier said than done. It’s A TON of work and it can be very difficult to visualize the changes you’re making since the Power Apps Studio does not dynamically change size. The process described on Microsoft’s documentation involves publishing your app, waiting for it to actually push to users, and then play the app in a browser or mobile device.
